is anyone else doing nanowrimo this year? i am so incredibly excited (as usual).

so what if i haven't been around at all? blame it on college. the dorming experience has been hella fun thus far, and i plan on keeping that up. i even started playing pool with everyone yesterday. i'm pretty much the epitome of suck at it, but that doesn't bother me much. there hasn't been much time outside of class to draw, so almost everything artistic i have to show is on notebook paper being impaled by scrawny blue lines. you guys don't want to see that. it makes people on dA cry. i'll be reading some poetry on the 10th of october at a small little poetry slam. i'm thinking that "you make it snow" is what i'm going to show off, but we'

https://poetry-noodle.deviantart.com/journal/14468691/ is still very relevant. i am working on the first chapter of a story involving the three characters in  https://poetry-noodle.deviantart.com/art/i-has-a-choice-63675569 . the only character in the first chapter is benji (left-most). the other two characters need names stat, and i can't think of any, so if you guys have any ideas, be my guest. also, i might be submitting a couple of comic pages as excerpts from the first chapter just to see which medium it translates into better. we'll see. i'm trying to decide if i'll be putting a mature filter on it or not. honestly, the only bad part
